Your challenge:

The Accounting Specialist and Asset Manager (m/f) for international large-scale solar plants assists within all steps from planning until realization and operation in the project budget, in the economic planning and in the financial accounting and reporting.

The Accounting Specialist and Asset Manager (m/f) will report to the Vice President of EPC and work out of our office in Berlin.

Your responsibilities:Your qualifications:
  • You are managing the financial statements and tax declarations of project companies in different countries supported by external consultants.
  • You are the interface between German / foreign tax consultants and the internal Finance department.
  • You are responsible for preparation and review of decision making reports for the management as well as balance, P&L and cash reports.
  • You organize and complete all asset management activities of solar projects.
  • You have successfully completed your studies in business administration, economics or banking and gained several years of working experience in a similar position, ideally in the renewable energy industry.
  • You have a good knowledge of accounting and tax law and at least a basic knowledge of consolidation.
  • You are a flexible, hard-working team player with a hands-on attitude and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • You convince through your strong organizational skills and the ability to develop process and procedures with little direction in a fast pace and changing environment.
  • You are prepared to travel.
  • You have very good MS Office skills, especially excellent and practical knowledge of excel.
  • Business-fluent spoken and written English skills as well as very good spoken and written German skills complete your profile. Other foreign languages and experience abroad are an advantage.
